History of Vaughn, Coltrane, Pharr & Associates

VCP&A was formed by the merger of two respected engineering design firms that specialized in food and related industries. Vaughn, Coltrane, and Associates was an engineering company with offices in Tucker, GA and Springdale, AR. The Pharr Group was a design and project management company located in Rogers, AR. With the merger in 1999, the Arkansas offices were consolidated in the Springdale area. The resulting company has extensive epertise in design and construction of USDA and FDA compliant facilities.

The food safety consulting services are offered because of recent technological and legal developments in the food industry. Food Processing plants are subject to an array of federal, state and local regulations, and new food processing technologies are being introduced at an ever increasing rate.

Robert White joined the staff of VCP&A in February 2001 as a Food Safety and Quality Consultant. He has extensive experience in the food industry, USDA and FDA regulations, HACCP, and Statistical Quality Control.
